All employees will be given a copy of the company safety guideline booklet
to read and become familiar with. Employees will also sign and date the form
in their book stating they have read and understand the information it
contains. Employees will be updated on any O.H. & S. or other applicable
regulations at pre-job or orientation meetings.
Supervisors will make certain that all employees and third parties under
their supervision clearly understand the recommended safe practices that
cover hazardous conditions that may exist on the job site, and encourage
employee input as to how those hazardous may be controlled.
Safety is the responsibility of the safety officer, supervisors and all
employees of HCL National Inc, in other words it is everyone's
responsibility. It is the policy of this company to hold safety meetings as
required, in some situations this would happen daily. These meetings will
help to maintain interest in the safety program by making employees aware of
safety hazards and provide an opportunity for the employees to suggest ways
in which to reduce or eliminate safety hazards. Management or designated
representatives and all employees are expected to attend. Employees are
encouraged to bring safety concerns to the safety officer one day prior to
the safety meeting. Guest speakers will be brought in occasionally on
various topics.
The purpose of our Safety Training is to ensure that all employees receive
adequate training.
